Last February, the 1st International Conference of Young Researchers in Literary and Cultural Studies took place in the Philology and Translation Faculty of the University of Vigo. This event was supported by the Research group ELICIN (ELYCE-LITERACINE) from the Spanish Literature and Literary Theory Department and organized by young researchers from this department. In this context, a big group of young researchers could share their work and struck up academic relationships with colleagues from Spanish and foreign Universities.
Given the success of the first event and from the symposium originated from this, we are glad to communicate the celebration of the 2nd CIJIELC, a second edition of this congress on 15th, 16th and 17th February 2017, and we hope that it will have the same audience as the previous one.
The 2nd CIJIELC will maintain the same four lines of research inside literary and cultural studies, two fields related to Humanities and Social Science studies. These are:
- Hispanic Literary Studies
- Galician, Portuguese and English Literary Studies
- Cultural Studies: Literature and Culture
- Comparative studies: Literature and Media
Proposals must be submitted by mail using the address cijielc@uvigo.es in a single file following the structure specified in the call for papers.
CIJIELC
